I have always been a fitness enthusiast and my background in dance/musical theater has instilled in me a passion for movement as a form of expression. However, it wasn’t until 2013 that I found my way to a regular yoga practice. After an injury, it began as a means to rebuilding strength and stability, but I would soon learn that yoga encompasses so much more! The positive impact the practice has had on me physically, mentally, and spiritually is undeniable. In 2016, I completed my 200 hour teaching training at Studio Oxygen in order to start sharing my love for yoga with others. I believe that a person’s “edge” is fluid, so I always encourage students to self assess and tailor their practice to complement the needs of their present state. It’s all about achieving a healthy balance and making it about what you can do, not what you can’t!
