Katy’s yoga journey began in 2010 as she began to feel the transformation yoga had in her life. It wasn’t long before she felt inspired to share the gift of yoga with others and decided to complete her 200-hour National Yoga Alliance certification through Studio Oxygen.
Katy has a strong background in dance, musical theater, and possesses a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education. Her medical knowledge influences and guides her teaching and strengthens her interest and passion for the human body and its capabilities. With that mentality she teaches her classes from the heart creating an uplifting, safe environment for students to begin to explore and expand within their own bodies and consciousness.
