Please make this a part of your practice before every class.

Arrive ten minutes early
Practice mastering your stillness. Classes can get become full. Arriving early insures you get a spot to practice.

Remove your shoes
Please remove your shoes and socks upon entering the studio. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a hand towel.

Purchase a yoga mat
Studio Oxygen provides free mats for use to new students. We do encourage you to purchase your own mat. It is more hygienic and helps you stay committed to your practice. If you do use one of our mats, please be sure to thoroughly clean it (cleaning products provided) after each use.

Practice on an empty stomach
To get the most out of your practice, refrain from eating 1 to 2 hours before class. Also, we encourage you to drink water before and after class, rather than during. This helps maintain the internal heat we build and keeps the fire going!

A clean yogi is a happy yogi
Strong scents can be disruptive to others. Please refrain from wearing perfumes and other fragrances during class. If you bring your mat, please be sure to wash it regularly.

Inform instructor of any health conditions
For your safety, please inform your instructor of health conditions that can affect your practice (illness, injuries, pregnancy, etc.). This helps insure that our instructors can offer you the best class possible.

Know your limits
For your safety, as well as the safety of others around you, we recommend that only those that have a good understanding of their practice and have a consistent, aware practice attend advanced classes.

Don’t disrupt others
Save friendly conversations for after class. If you must leave early, please exit before the class takes Savasana (final relaxation). Please leave your phone and all electronic devices outside of the yoga room.

When I first started practicing yoga, I had no idea what it was or how it was practiced. I am very thankful that I found Studio Oxygen and started my practice there because I was openly welcomed and embraced by the teachers, students, and yoga community. Even though I didn’t know any of the postures, classes were never intimidating because the teachers did such a great job explaining the alignment cues in each posture and transition. I quickly fell in love with the yoga practice, the people, and the studio and have been addicted since! After less than a year of practicing at Studio Oxygen, I knew I wanted to take my practice deeper and chose to do my 200 hour yoga instructor certification there under Marianne, the founder. The training experience was incredible and I am very proud to say that I am an alum of Oxygen’s Teacher Training! I would highly recommend anyone – first timers and experts – to experience Studio Oxygen’s amazing teachers and energy!
